Phlebotomy Tech

Service Description
CNA certification is not required to enroll in this course.
The primary objective of learning phlebotomy is to have a good understanding of both the human anatomy and venipuncture techniques. The ability to identify a good vein to draw blood for patient lab work, from the appropriate site, prepare the site for venipuncture, and correctly label all samples for delivery to the laboratory as needed.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to sit for certifications from the National Healthcareer Association.
